FEMALE FOETICIDE 

Female Foeticide is the process of determining sex of a fetous and decides to go with abortion if they found that it is a girl . Though it is illegal but still many people practise this . 

It has seen that there are many communities who also practice female infanticide which means killing a child after birth if it is a girl. 

Killing a child if they found that it is a girl after a birth is a crime. 

According to census in 2001 it was found that there are 933 women over 1000 men in the world . 

In 2011 the data showed there is a significant decline in child sex ratio (CSR) i.e there are only 918 girls for every 1000 boys between the age group of 0-6 years . 

This decline clearly implies that we are depriving human rights of the girls .

We are snatching the right to live from those little angels .

ACCORDING TO THE LAW 

1. Indian Penal code has amended certain sections for forced abortion , intentially preventing born of  a girl child , causing death of unborn child . 
2. The sections says that if someone is practising this is liable for punishment of 3 years of jail and penalty of 3 years of jail . 
3. The practise of determining the sex of child by Pre-natal Diagnostic is a punishable offence.
4. Moreover the government has started creating awareness amazon the villagers by organising camps , banners , house to house visit . 
5. Moreover government assigned few roles for panchayat such as :
6. Registering the birth and death of a child .
7. Creating awarness about sex equality among villagers .
8. Explaining the law to villagers .

Now the point is I don't understand why this practise prevails . 

We all should know the importance of girls .

• The practise of female infainticide and foeticide needs to be stopped as girls are not a burden they are a beautiful gift of god .
• We all say boys and girls are equal but when it comes to implementing it we all fail. Why ?
• I just want to know why girls are considered as a burden ?
• Just because of dowry that is demanded by the groom’s family at the time of marriage . 

• Do we have a thought that if all of us will kill a girl child then from where our son will get a girl .

• A Girl is someone who can build your family who nourishes your family .

I just completely understand why after being a female gets ready for abortion when they found that it is a girl , have you thought that if your mother did the same with you then ?

Why  there is a need to demand dowry from a girl child are you not capable enough to earn the same ?

• Girls are beautiful gifts that god offers to the parents and we kill them by saying that we don't need them . Why don't we believe for the sake of humanity.

• However this practice has been reduced as the education and awareness among all of us including villagers has increased .

But still many educated people say that “kash ladka hojat” i mean seriously ? 

What if we wish for a boy child and upbring him all  sorts of care, love and affection and once you have grown old that boy is going to ask you to leave a house and go to the old age home . ..

And at this point of time we are going to realise that “kash beti hoti” .

Support a girl child because they are not burdens they are not tensions in fact the girl is equal to 10 sons .

Girls are achieving excellence in every field what boys can't do Girls can do.
